In March 2004, Steve Scaccia & John Haye contacted Forward Janesville to organize a meeting of business and property owners on Janesville’s West side. The purpose was to discuss ways to better promote and develop this under utilized side of Janesville. In the first few meetings, City of Janesville’s Brad Cantrell, Community Development Director and Doug Venable, Director of Economic Development, made presentations, a decision was made what to name the group and we were off and running. We continue to meet each month and have met at various businesses on the West side.
